ruby writing a whole ass tracker/daw to make a hyper specific client workflow easier for me
I have the exact opposite problem where I get nerdsniped into perpetually making tools instead of the project it was designed for
I think most game dev teams underestimate how damaging slow workflows are to the ultimate quality of their game.
If it takes 5 minutes to launch the game and see your changes, I think your game is going to be MUCH worse than the alternate timeline where it took 1 minute

this year is still full of question marks for us. and day by day sometimes we are just hit with really shitty feeling ones. i think the one important thing is to figure how to sustainably keep going. how do we continue to survive financially while putting our skills towards those who most need them?

ughugh ruby has been having the drive to work on tracker stuff during the day, then come night i wanna mess with it and i get the drive to write music but its way past our bedtime.. but i gotta get the ideas down!!! i have a lot of music to write

i finished sky sc. oops i saw we had cold steel 1 in the library and started playing it. further making my play order weird. but its fine! w/e. sky 3rd will still be there. crossbell arc will still be there! no trails purist is controlling my playthrough experience. i already played db/db2 also lol

if i told u our living and hygiene habits for the past year or so… they have gotten particularly bad the last few months. maybe on par on what they were in 2019, but lacking any good reason beyond maybe execeutive dysfynction/depression. but well beyond the threshold for ppl to get judgmental abt it
