I have never been prouder to have been born in NJ, to have my family from NJ. Truly making history in an undeniable and powerful way.
More than 20 hrs in, and Senator Corey Booker has given proof through the night that our flag is still there!

O say does that star spangled banner yet wave, o’er the land of the FREE and the home of the BRAVE! ✊🏼

Thank you @booker.senate.gov 💙

While dressing the mannequin I discovered the sad fact that this gown is missing a piece. Probably a faux stomacher that would fit in the V shape. Fancy Dress Costume, 1890-2. American, Chamberlain. 6 Rockland St, Roxbury, MA. #historysky #fashionsky

A stunning day out yesterday at the Bath Fashion Museum stores. They hold an exceptional collection of 17th-century gloves and other embroidered items. You can really follow a shift from metal thread to ribbons and appreciate the meticulous stitches that gave each glove their shape. #earlymodern

Most of the time the late Georgian/Early Victorian wardrobe remains closed to visitors. The aim was to make it appear as if the three women just left after searching for something.

This past December I had the honor of creating a temporary exhibit in the main bedroom of the Nichols House Museum. Home to three very progressive women at the turn of the 20th century it was a delight to choose pieces that recreated their early adulthood in the house (1890s).

Hi Blue Sky.

Really excited to start something fresh. While my own area of study rarely overlaps with my work I’m hope to share more of it. Lots of social history and beautiful pieces from the 1% of Bostonians. Have a view from the office.
