The annual pumpkin display at the entrance of Governor Pritzker’s personal residence on Astor Street. He is the pumpkin king. Illinois produces the most pumpkins, including canned, than any other state in the U.S., twice as many as the next five states combined.
My photo taken last year of Governor J.B. Pritzker’s personal residence on Chicago’s Astor Street showcasing an impressive pumpkin and gourd display.

not sure if this is humblebrag or simply brag, but I just did a 30-minute interview with a journalist from @franceculture.fr in French and was surprised by how well it went (not perfectly, but entirely comprehensibly); I don't know where this comes from given that sadly I never use French these days

This could make sense, but not when you've already seen it several times and decided not to interact with the post. Why keep pushing it then? The algo needs more tweaking, me thinks.

I just love seeing copies of our book out in the world! What a fantastic experience it was to write this with John @palfrey.org. I love the tone that our blended work struck.

I'm so impressed, a school just asked me to do a promotion review due.. not in January.. not in February... but in August! Yes, when you're this on top of it, I can add it to my schedule. (This is not an invitation to send me a bunch of requests, just to clarify. ;-)

Students working on interview projects? Have them read "Qualitative Sampling and Internet Research" by Lee Humphreys. I just reread it for a reading group yesterday and was reminded of how helpful it is for thinking about sampling with qualitative work. www.degruyter.com/document/doi...
