Curious then how I just bought a Fellows Mighty Small Carafe from the Coava Coffee Roasters shop in Portland to replace the one that cracked today.

Google maps is an alternative for verifying that we still have stores in Portland and they are not boarded up. 450 SW Yamhill St, Portland is a good place to start.

They always ignore the vast labor market of people who are not unionized, many who are working more than one job so they can pay rent, buy food and pay for utilities. Just trying to survive. All things that are not cheaper even though there is now AI.

I think they realized that a lot of the problems that happened in 2020 were caused by the feds during the protests. And that cost them a lot of money and more. Definitely feels like they do not want a second season of that mess. Good for them protecting us this time.

I had an interesting conversation today with a Washington Park shuttle driver. He said that this year there has been a larger number of passengers that have relocated from Florida and Texas to Oregon.

Guessing they think it's more peaceful here too.

I don't think it's a boycott. More like toxic.
He's poisoned the well with his actions here in the US.
Other cars brands available. I live in a place where a lot of people bought Teslas back when. Now they are buying Rivians instead.
Too bad we can't get BYD Seagulls here.

What is so unreal to us living in the Portland area is how verifiable it is that Portland has not been burning for the last several years or now.

Some say his aids are feeding him this fake news. But there is something very wrong with him to accept it and continue saying stuff that is so false.

Some dates to remember about the Temporary Restraining Order ruling against deploying National Guard troops in Oregon.
10/17 the judge will determine if the TRO needs to be extended.
10/29 the judge will hold a trial on the merits of the lawsuits.
