REPOST: One of the most seamless ways we've seen to pay for transit is by enabling tap to pay on your smartwatch.

There are so many helpful tips that we use to get around on ETS. Send your transit tips to us at any of our socials, we want to share them!

Happy Email Your Councillor Day everybody!

On the last Monday of every month, we are challenging everyone to reach out to their city councillor and tell them what you want Edmonton to be.

This is a great way to bake civic involvement into your schedule (cc [email protected])

Last night, a room of passionate transit advocates got together with @denisagar.bsky.social from @movementyvr.bsky.social to learn about transit advocacy. Thank you everyone who came out, and thank you @michaeljanz.bsky.social for organizing this great event

We want to make sure that transit riders, the people in our city doing the most to reduce traffic, aren't the ones getting stuck in it.

Getting this project funded during this year's budget discussions is a major priority, and we need to all work together to get it across the finish line

The B1 will run from Castle Downs to Century Park

The B2 will run from West Edmonton Mall to Bonnie Doon

This is a project that:

🏃 Speeds up our busiest bus routes that already see tens of thousands of trips daily,

🗺️ Connects isolated parts of our city to transit, and

⏲️ Can be built quickly and affordably

Did you know this system also works for LRT stations? We compiled the station IDs for every LRT station so you can always know when the next train is coming.

You can text your bus stop number (find on the black box on the bottom of the sign) to 31100 to see when the next bus is going to show up!

Edmonton's budget for next year just got a little more transit friendly

While not everything we wanted got voted in, Edmonton's transit system is setup to better meet growth pressures, modernize its equipment and operations, and maintain a comfortable and clean environment

November 28, 2025 at 8:38 PM
✅ Maintaining cleaning program funding

✅ Improving DATS service

✅ Off-peak safety attendants

✅ Multi-day airport passes

❌ Increases in the airport fare and fare cap
November 28, 2025 at 8:38 PM
✅ More buses to help transition on-demand zones to conventional service

✅ Projects proposed under the Canada Public Transit Fund approved
November 28, 2025 at 8:38 PM
You've seen a few posts from us about public transit projects and initiatives that COULD be funded in next week's city budget adjustment.

Here are a complete list of what we want to see council approve (and in some cases oppose) when they go to propose and vote on amendments next week
November 28, 2025 at 8:38 PM
We oppose the proposal to increase these transit fares, however we do support the addition of multi-day passes including airport fares for tourists.

Let's keep transit affordable
November 27, 2025 at 3:39 PM
While visitors should be paying more to access our services since they don't pay property taxes, but many of the people using the airport bus are working service jobs in and around the airport, and should not have to pay over and beyond what somebody working anywhere else would pay
November 27, 2025 at 3:39 PM
Not everything in the Fall Budget Adjustment is good for transit riders unfortunately

Administration is proposing increasing the fare for the 747 to the airport to $6.00, with a monthly fare cap increase from $90.00 to $108.00. This could mean an addition $216.00 per year!

✅Enhance DATS service to maintain our minimum accommodation rate

✅Fund weekend and off-peak safety attendants to make sure riders feel comfortable when fewer people are using our system

✅Make the Enhanced Cleaning Program permanent to keep our system clean
