We trace Sinophone queer scholarship throughout the past three decades focuses on geopolitics and thus moves away from the one-way, center-peripheral imagination of identity by relying on China as the center, and toward different directionalities and forms of attachments and allyship in HK and TW:

As 2024 draws to a close, I'm very pleased to see this piece, joint first authorship with Wen Liu, published. We propose the #geopolitics of queer archives to trace queer knowledge and activism connecting HK and TW, often overlooked under the shadow of the "greater China" framework. 🧵
