Fun fact: Mom watched so many detective shows at such a rapid clip, I ended up writing a few detective stories (flash? Emergent drafts?) so she'd have something 'to watch,' an example of which is linked below.
Detective Rhinestone
Detective Edgar Rhinestone had to be the dumbest detective that I’d ever encountered in my years on the force.

"Never spread the lie in the headline" should be a hard rule of 21st century journalism.

Research shows that repeating lies helps to spread them, and people read headlines more than they read stories.
News media has to do better with headlines that present false and unverified public health claims.

Has anyone written about how this Radiohead performance had such a clear, foundational impact on One Battle After Another? From the music of the car chase to Perfidia literally saying Freedom = no fear, it feels like a howlingly obvious thing that should have been flagged, and yet ...

During Thanksgiving and holidays, people want to do food drives where they collect canned goods etc... and I really would love to offer that food banks need MONEY so if you can collect and donate MONEY please do that. They can then use those funds to purchase what's needed AT DISCOUNTS.

This is our community's letter!! It was written by Josie Morway, a local artist and parent. After we started asking questions, the district slowed way down and starting holding forums, creating workgroups, and taking student privacy more seriously. Talk to us if you want to do the same!

So many of you are posting about how long this game is like the Paw Sox (RIP) *didn't* go for 33 innings against the Rochester Red Wings on April 19-20, 1981.

Also/for what it's worth: I'd argue that the fact that they use ghost runners during the regular season and *not* during the post-season -- and the fact that this game is *great* -- kinda sorta undermines Manfred's rules (larger bases, pitch clock, ghost runner, etc.)
