Q: Is anyone interested in means testing social security benefits or are we good spending $300M annually on benefits for people making over $10M a year?

Let's talk about the National Debt. What is it. Who do we owe.

At what point is this unsustainable. And what do we do about it?

Let's start with what it is.

We currently owe about $38 TRILLION dollars.

The first thing to know is that 7.47 TRILLION is money the government owes to itself.

Wait. Wait. Coinsurance is banned but the 80% of cost reimbursement rates are maintained?!

I knew the economics of “Medicare for All” were terrible, but actually reading the thing is so much worse.

We have problems. I’m not arguing the severity of this or need for solutions.

But this isn’t it.

The effects presented don’t include funding it…😅🤦‍♂️

HEY FOLKS!

Ah! There it is.

More religious appropriation by the Republican Party.

“Faith-based”. They mean white evangelical based.

Highly doubt any of these grants would ever be approved to an Islamic housing program . 🙄

I get the intent, but we need a better solution.

CEO pay isn't tied to a better working wage for people.

Take a quick example from Starbucks. The CEO was paid $60,000 with $90M in stocks.

With 400,000 employees. That's $225 in stocks that could have gone to employees.

Susan Collins’ concern level has been downgraded from “Not at all” to “Wake me up when it’s time for the election”

🤦‍♂️

After the event, I hooked up with Officer @libradunn1.bsky.social, and had a great time talking with him about January 6th and our political climate in America!

As a Chaplain for the DC Guard, taking care of our Capitol Police Officers in the aftermath of the attack was a core part of our mission.

I arrived in Portland tonight and will be here through Saturday for the @mainedems.bsky.social Gala and Pre-Event for the Senate candidates.

So many wonderful conversations with Mainers in Portland the last few hours.

Grateful to have met them and earned their support for the primary.

Building the kind of government that serves everyone, begins with listening!

The ideal of America is forever the unfinished and humble dream that we can live together with those who believe different, look different, and think different than ourselves, and all become better for it.

I remember ignorantly thinking I knew how bad the President’s social media was going to be and that it couldn’t be worse than the first term.

I was so very very wrong.

Honored to attend the Faith and Freedom Rally in Presque Isle to remember and bring healing in the wake of Charlie Kirk’s assassination.

Violence and hatred have no place in our politics or our country. That’s why I’m fighting to bring respect, truth, and common ground back to our public life.

Standing here in Fort Kent at "America's First Mile," I’m reminded of U.S. Rte 1’s powerful impact on our state, our economy, and our unity of life. As I begin my campaign, I commit to a similar mission — to Move Maine Forward, connect people together, and build a future that is lasting and strong.

A gorgeous morning in Fort Kent. Attending the American Legion Breakfast this morning is just the first stop in a busy weekend traveling across the county to meet with people, listen to their concerns, and share ideas about how we can Move Maine Forward together.

In Maine, we show up, speak honestly, and take care of one another. It's time for our leaders to do the same. That’s why I am ready to dedicate my skills and expertise to MOVING MAINE FORWARD in the U.S. Senate.
