In Maine, we show up, speak honestly, and take care of one another. It's time for our leaders to do the same. That’s why I am ready to dedicate my skills and expertise to MOVING MAINE FORWARD in the U.S. Senate.

We’re bankrupting our children’s future.

With more than enough blame to go around.

But if we don’t get serious about the problem, there will be nothing left.

The problem got to be what it is because soundbites are easier to get behind than real policy changes.

Apple’s CEO makes 21 cents per hour, per employee.

You could take the CEO compensation and distribute evenly among all Apple employees and give everyone a whopping $445 extra for the year.

You know who takes most of your money and barely bats an eye?

The federal, state, and local governments.

It’s called efficiency.

5 corporations merge into 1 and only need 1 CEO. It’s not evil and it’s not wrong.

When I worked for Disney in corporate accounting, I learned the real size and scope of what the CEO is responsible for.
CEO-to-worker pay ratio in 1965: 20-1

CEO-to-worker pay ratio in 1990: 75-1

CEO-to-worker pay ratio today: 280-to-1

Trickle-down economics was always a sham.

Nothing has ever trickled down.

I’m running for U.S. Senate because there’s no one more capable in Maine of holding Susan Collins and this Donald Trump’s regime accountable.

I know what’s at stake and I have the experience and determination to fight back against this without assuming that all Republicans are some how OK with this

My first ever job was working at a video store in the mall at 14 in 2001.

Black Friday was a sight to behold.

This is the way.

I do not agree with this characterization of Hamas' war against Israel.

Hamas is solely responsible for engaging in and exposing their citizens to the evils and suffering of war.

Hamas can have no part in the future of the Palestinian people.
I concur. And they are still coordinating an ethnic cleansing in Gaza, after killing huge numbers of innocents and leveling their homes with munitions made here, so murder is not like they are crossing the Rubicon. They were already guilty of heinous crimes some time ago.

Over the last 24 hours, it’s become crystal clear for me that our nation cannot survive under our two party system and that being an independent doesn’t mean that I’m advocating for something in the middle of the two of them.

No. The third way. The way forward must be something entirely different!

In August 2021, I was part of an effort to process passports from Afghan Women Judges and their families fleeing the now emptied prisons where some of the Taliban were held.

I still have their pictures and faces seared into my memory.

This review is cruel.

Do we plan the toddler of a dictator in the white house for screaming “I want!! I want!!”

Do we blame the sycophants in Congress obsessed with reelection over difficult policy?

Or…

Everything is different after today. This hurts. This is personal. Deeply personal, and I'm not sure where I end up going from here.

On a list of things we’re taught as chaplains to NEVER screw up its memorial ceremonies and funerals.

I got to believe public affairs professionals have something similar.

What boondoggle
He went back and said that it is unknown.

I’m having flashing backs to post J6 operations. And telling the chaplains to prepare for this scenario.

Putting Soldiers on the streets in the U.S. has its own set of risks.

This mission always carried this risk. Always.

I’m numb. I don’t think I have the energy for rage anymore.
There must be zero tolerance for violence — of any kind — against the brave men and women in uniform who selflessly serve our communities and our country. The shooting of National Guard members in Washington, D.C. is horrific and unacceptable.

Q: Is anyone interested in means testing social security benefits or are we good spending $300M annually on benefits for people making over $10M a year?
November 25, 2025 at 8:23 PM
We took in 2.4 trillion dollars in income tax revenue.

We spent 1.2 trillion dollars on defense

That’s 50% of nearly all discretionary spending.

Does anyone else think that’s a problem?

WELL SAID!!

Her brand of bipartisanship isn’t focused on doing the hard work of bringing people together on difficult issues.

She intentionally chooses the “low hanging fruit” that yields are the exact political persona she wants to get reelected.

She needs to go!
Labeling Susan Collins a "coward" is far too generous. It implies that she would do better by Mainers if she wasn't scared of some mysterious force.

The reality is that Collins unabashedly votes for her beliefs. And those beliefs align with Trump 96% of the time. Vote her out.

This article written by retired Lieutenant General Hertling, it’s the nail on the head!

He does an exponentially better job of explaining what I’ve been trying to with how dangerous the video from Mark Kelley and others actually is.

Please give it a read.

We have plenty of children here who want to be doctors, but aren't given the education or resources to do so.

THAT is the bigger issue for America.
The Trump Administration is making the shortage of physicians worse, and health care more expensive.

Immigrants make up a significant proportion of all the country's doctors. New policies are making it harder and less appealing for foreign-born physicians to come to the U.S.

This is more than probably the correct take.

I’m regularly socially awkward and unaware of things like this.

I read things online with skeptical eyes and a desire to learn other people’s points of view and offer more grace for misunderstandings than I receive.

I can do better
November 25, 2025 at 12:57 AM
This isn’t a joke. Social Security benefits WILL be cut by 22% in 2033, and Susan Collins not only accelerated the problem by giving benefits to people who had jobs that didn’t pay into the program, but she continues to do absolutely nothing about this other than express concern
Yikes. I just calculated my 2033 Social Security (based on the current benefit, i.e., no COLAs), assuming a 22% reduction.

I can't begin to fathom how those with lower benefits will survive.
