I think the problem is that he's one of those people who is generally well-informed (for a layman) about one specific topic. But then they think that they're super intelligent and don't need to do research on any other topics, because they're always right just on instinct.

One of those guys who started out in Gamergate, and then became a lefty. But didn't do a whole lot of introspection about how they ended up in a racist hate mob in the first place. So they'll spit out completely brain dead takes, all the while convinced that they're the reincarnation of Karl Marx.

Also worth noting that ethnostates are an inherently bad idea, doubly so when founded on stolen land. And that cut/pasting from the Levant to sub-saharan Africa wouldn't solve the underlying problems that they cause.

I read this when he first posted it 6 months ago, so I actually misremembered it: he says that Israel should have been established in Africa from the beginning, not that they should be relocated there now.

Never forget the time that Adam Something suggested that the solution to Israel/Palestine is taking every single Israeli citizen, and forcibly relocating them to "an empty stretch of land in Africa". He repeatedly asserted that there were vast tracts of inhabitable but empty land... somewhere.
