Body-camera video of a Border Patrol agent involved in the shooting of a woman who was allegedly chasing agents in Brighton Park over the weekend shows an officer saying, "Do something, b---," before pulling over and shooting the woman five times, the woman's attorney said in federal court Monday.

1/3 I see it as an extension of the same. You may already know, if not, research the origins of local police. Short answer: slave catchers. Not much has changed in the relationship between police and the black community.

Part is peaceful protest while protecting the most vulnerable. Look at which specific communities are being targeted. Black and brown communities are the most vulnerable. The majority class (white americans) will need to move to the front line. No change without that collective action.

Many choose to remain uninformed. It was about reform. Stop spending on military grade equipment and invest more in social services, prevention, and community programs. They insisted it was about taking their paychecks.

I agree. It has been my #1 concern since 2016 -who will control the US military when ish really hits the fan? We’re about to find out.

But, also, budgets (levels) “are moral documents”, they express intent and priorities.
