https://github.com/hyprstream/hyprstream
Pinned
We're building an AI that's free, public, and openly trained by the community, with open weights shared via torrent git chunks.

Streaming weekdays 11-3pm on Twitch.

Come hang out Monday, or give our repos some stars! ⭐️
John Carmack misgendering and deadnaming Burger Becky while admitting she was a better regarded programmer than him (in the early 90s)... reminds me of the time she called him out for lazily writing unsafe code in Doom.

It's wild that some of the most interesting software engineering happening today is all about improving Git.

As long as scientists are ineligible for being trans/black/women/etc... then I am for any and all mechanisms that make it harder for everyone else to do science, too.

You can't get me to care about this when I'm already deemed an ineligible person due to my sex and gender.
“The prohibited activities would include joint research, co-authorship on papers, and advising a foreign graduate student or postdoctoral fellow. The language is retroactive, meaning any interactions during the previous 5 years could make a scientist ineligible for future federal funding.”

The Steam Machine's AMD platform looks like an upgraded PlayStation 5 or the BC-250. Zen2->4, RDNA2->3, but only 28 CUs down from PS5's 36/60. This is an AMD package focused on affordability.

8GB VRAM will be limiting, but the 16GB of system RAM suggests more general purpose use.

Live-streaming again today, 11am-3pm Eastern US.

Working on Hyprstream, an open source AI mesh powered by GitOps.

Currently supporting Qwen3 on NVIDIA and AMD. Docker images are available for preview. Today, we're hacking on support for multimodal any<->any transformers.

No stream today. Go vote if you're in the US. Unless you vote the wrong way.

I'm not feeling great today - just a stomach bug - hope to be back tomorrow.

🚨🚨🚨 Trump's NSA likely has or will have a quantum computer capable of breaking most deployed encryption before the end of his present term.🚨🚨🚨

The technology is here, it's just a matter of scaling it out. The government buyers and strategists are shopping. NVIDIA's NVQLink only affirms it.

What's coming in video games is so amazing. Realtime deepfake environments. Breaking through to a new level of uncanny valley. Where we're going there's no polygons.

HyunyuanWorld-Mirror is a model I've been waiting for. Very exciting. I can't wait to see what's built from it.

the jump from 64GB to 128GB VRAM feels negligible, looking forward to the day I can run these >200GB models on day one.
