as with every single argument of this type they are actually hiding the ball inside their assumptions of what humans do, which is that we somehow create novel thought formations that are bespoke and unique and not made up of combinations of other concepts in relation

My criticism here is limited to the moral panic du jour: the widespread, loudly proclaimed belief that the use of AI/LLMs is going to negatively impact (almost always, other) people's ability to think critically/creatively. I think that is ahistorical nonsense.

will someday in the not too distant future seem just as ridiculous as Erasmus's fearful reaction to the printing press. books.google.com/books?id=wek...

The anti-AI crowd on here has strident yet very lazy takes on critical thinking, creativity, human nature, intellectual work in general. Humanity is in no more danger of forgetting how to think critically and creatively than it ever has been because of a novel technology. This moral panic

I have the same question. Why would making a morally vacuous gesture, one you freely admit didn't matter, assuage your conscience?

There it is. Your vote was not about Palestinians. It was to make you feel better about yourself.

That you make a distinction between magats and voters who "could live with a genocidal candidate" tells me everything about your insipid beliefs. You prefer Trump, but are too chickenshit to say so.

By your own admission, your choice was morally vacuous ("it made no difference"). I've already made clear I find your "she was arrogant, dismissive" bullshit intellectually vacuous. What else would you like me to respond to?

How'd your choice work out for the Palestinians? Can you honestly say that they are better off today because Harris lost?

Did you not mean to write "She came off as arrogant, dismissive and taking her voter's support for granted, because: Trump very bad"? Because you did, and it is nothing but psychologizing at a distance.

The old man blocked me. Peace out, you fucking coward.

Are you one of those OCD posting dorks who always has to have the last word? Fun! Let's see how long I can trigger you to respond.
