genealogy is such an interesting dichotomy of a hobby sometimes bc like, on one hand, I just found a document about my ancestor being in detroit from 1706! how cool!! and on the other hand it’s a land grant giving him hundreds of acres of land if he “clears” the natives off of it!

anyway yet again just had a great call with my boss where she’s so kind and tells me I’m doing great. and YET!!!!!!!!!!!
the thing about having a fear proven right (got laid off once when I was rly worried abt it and everyone kept telling me it wouldn’t happen) is that you can never calm down abt it again bc you were right that time! so why not again. and now i have losing my job anxiety every day of my life
