the word "cannabinoid" is fun because everyone says it differently

Agree. I tried every class of opiate including fentanyl with little result. Cannabis is not a miracle drug, but helps push my chronic pain to the background. There are some minor cannabinoids I find interesting. CBG for chronic pain and CBN as a sleep aid, have helped in my case.

I can, and do. It has replaced years of opiates, which were not only inadequate but detrimental in a myriad of ways.

It's not a panacea, but it helps enough to make life tolerable.

Yall would be shocked the number of times the Fire Department tries to get people arrested.

I had an FD file a formal complaint once because I didn’t arrest a guy for a nickel bag of marijuana that was only in “plain view” because the Fire fighters went into a closed room without permission.

4) Don't consume THC before the session, you'd think it would help but for some, it excites the nerves too much and make things more painful, let's avoid that. Obviously, no harder drugs as well. 5) once it's started you gotta go through it, it's common to have a short "wtf am I even doing" moment -

The other part is keeping detailed records of everything you smoke, so you can compare.

Once I started keeping a detailed weed journal, it became much easier to determine different terpenes as I smelled/tasted them.

When your doctor prescribes medication, there can be negative consequences (side effects.) But you continue the medication if the positive outweighs the negative. What would happen if we applied this standard to "recreational" substances?

Part of the medical definition is continuing the thing despite negative consequences. I got high last night and forgot to put away the food I cooked and it's bad now. But, you know, everything's fine. Is that a negative enough negative consequence?

Before social media existed, we used to always wear our DARE shirts to school to let our friends know we brought weed to smoke at lunch

This was also my experience. Nothing about alcohol, everything about "IF YOU EVEN TRY WEED ONCE YOU'LL END UP DEAD LIKE LEN BIAS."
DARE as I experienced it was like "guy from the local cops who had been assigned to desk duty tells you that if you ever SMOKE A DOOBIE you'll become a homeless heroin addict"

A lot of people who don’t want to mask associate masks with the fear we all felt at the start of the pandemic. I get that! But you need to adjust your mindset to the reality: you should feel SAFER when wearing a mask—because YOU ARE. I’m much less fearful of Covid when I’m protecting myself!

Information sharing thread: Do you use edibles? If so, how often, what kind, how many mg ? I'll start. I take an edible around 5 mg a few hours before bed to help me relax and go to sleep. I use different strains, but find that a hybrid THC followed by some cbd closer to bed helps me sleep most.

Les « drogues » sont-elles nécessairement dangereuses ? Est-ce que quand on prend une fois de l’héroïne on devient addict ? C’est quoi la drogue la plus addictive ? Drogue dure/drogue douce ?

I have friends who found THC edibles really helpful. Also, cutting out caffeine. But I don't speak from personal experience. Exercise has been the thing that helped me. (also, just adjusting to sleep deprivation [suboptimal])
