It's wild how deeply some people believe in these literal supernatural narratives, to the point where they justify real-world harm. It’s not even about policy or leadership at that point—it’s about spiritual warfare.

Crucial thing you must do right now is strengthen and expand your community. Serve together. Try a new activity. See each other in person. Over on the other site I am continually struck by how the rabid intensity does not actually reflect community or connection. Only way we get through this.

It's terribly vindictive of me - but I love it when people start giving up on their Fitness dreams because it means that I have more parking spots at the gym, instead of having to park at IFA and walk over in the cold.

This is the expected result of the current political climate. Media companies have historically survived through climates like this before by either maintaining neutrality on the outrageous actions of national leaders, or by outright praising them. It is painful to witness happening in real time.
I am really frustrated that the press is discussing the destruction of USAID as something that has happened rather than an illegal action that will likely be undone in two weeks when courts tell the world that it was illegal.

I understand why Trump’s rhetoric resonates with so many people. It appeals to a sense of nostalgia and moral certainty. That’s exactly why it’s dangerous—it provides simple answers to complex problems.
