From 5/12/2000. A reminder that the Daily Mail writes to an agenda, not as an objective observation of reality.

As is true for at least 80% of UK print media.

In 2000 they were rightly concerned that people having access to more information would make peddling unfiltered bullshit more challenging.

Wow. I mean... wow.
Very important for everyone in the British politics to understand what we are dealing with here, and the stakes involved. Not politics as normal.

The irony that the UK's fReE sPeEcH wArRiOrS are the same people who want the UK to leave the ECHR is hilarious.

None of you have read Article 10 then?

In other news, Nigel Farage didn't bother to turn up to the debate on grooming gangs in the House of Commons just now

Liz Truss is a disgusting, amoral, individual who brings shame on her country every time she opens her mouth or sits at a keyboard.

The entire Tory party should already be embarrassed about her time in office.

Today they should be removing her from the party.

Not to do so, is to align to her.

I mean... wow.

No UBO available for the company... perhaps surprisingly.
In 2001, the UK Government sold 600 of its #HMRC buildings to a Bermuda corporation (Mapeley Steps Ltd) for £220M. HMRC now rents its buildings for about £269M per year.

All going to a company with Tax Haven connections

Still waiting for the result of the cabinet inquiry into Johnson's conflict of interest with his hedge fund backers

Crispin Odey knew when Johnson was going to prorogue parliament

The inquiry was 5 years ago

Lol. @lbc.co.uk just interviewed one of the "farmers" protesting in Westminster about the rest of us cutting their tax subsidy.

The dude sounded like Jacob Rees Mogg.

Why is anyone buying this bullshit?

Well fucking played Campbell.

While the BBC hands yet more of licence fee payers' money to Farage for his billionth appearance on Question Time, they also accidentally booked someone who called him out.

I doubt they'll make that mistake again. But it was good to finally see it.
“I’ll tell you what you are, you’re somebody who will exploit any problem going for your own political ends”

Alastair Campbell ripping Farage a new one with the truth about Brexit on #bbcqt which, admittedly, felt like a fever dream remake of Years and Years.
