I’m really proud of myself and what I’ve made of my life despite having to be my own hypeman every step of the way, but, dang.

Idk why I’m sharing this except to say that this, being treated this way, has shaped my entire life and sense of self.
It’s subtle and degrading and takes an entire lifetime to get over.
I am grateful I am as strong as I am mentally.

When my friend moved to California in sixth grade and I was upset to lose her, my mom accused me of being a lesbian for crying over it.
