Another reason why there needs to be a coordinated boycott of the upcoming World Cup. The cities, organizers, federations, all need to lose serious money if they're to listen to anyone.

The idea that anti-ICE protesters believe in their cause is really hard for right-wingers to accept. Not because they don't believe in their own cause, but because they can't outwardly say what it is — a fascist ethnostate. An opposing side that can communicate clearly with itself is threatening.

The idea that anti-ICE protesters believe in their cause is really hard for right-wingers to accept. Not because they don't believe in their own cause, but because they can't outwardly say what it is — a fascist ethnostate. An opposing side that can communicate clearly with itself is threatening.
It's a sweeping testament to our country's grand mythmaking machine that we have long accepted dehumanizing an entire group over a civil violation NOT a criminal act.
