Time for a Garmin Facelift. The super condensed info screen I was using was getting a bit tired.

Still playing with what dials to show (and this is after a night of charging so some are zero).

Huh, new thing at station.

The Wednesday body swap episode. Brilliant.

But then I love these concepts.

Finished this one yesterday. It was interesting but I am not sure it told me a thing new as such.

Some of the recommendations were the usual this is what we should be doing but the US (since it was US focused) never will do them.

Finished this one yesterday. A woman's personal journey hiking the PCT after her mother's death.

Solid, probably the weakest of the bunch on this thread but it was virtually given away and now it is free - so there is that. It's a lot better than a 'free' book!

These two pictures exemplify how close some cruise ships get to the centre of European cities (but not all).

Mine is just behind it.

Also, the is this a road or not a road aspect of some European cities 😀

Impressive. Despite the barren nature of some unlit Christmas features in the square.

Also, the pigeons here are some of the bravest I've encountered.

Finished this one. Enjoyed it. It's a weird one though. Not really sure what the exact purpose was.

It sort of told the story of one man's life. I am guessing it had something to do with sex - but if there was a deeper meaning to it didn't appear to me.

This is one of those photos where you certainly don't turn around and photograph what is behind me.

Another random walk in a new town. It is sort of what I do. No lists of things to hit or an hour but hour itinerary. Just an alble and some vibes.

There are yachts and then there is the person who decides his vessel should be from the future.

I guess Fuerteventura is good for the beach obsessives.

I have finished this book, which is a great parody. In that it was meant to be funny, which it was at the start but soon descended into something more mad and sad.

Enjoyed it a lot.

It doesn't matter if you're on a city break, in the mountains or on the cruise do your main thing before 1100 hours.

Me getting the ship as everyone else gets off.

Possibly one of the most impressive restaurant concierge desks.

Probably you can guess it's not a place for vegetarians.

As for the travel writing setup. Working at an almost sublime level. The stand is even great for the Kindle.

Next book on the list. I just started it and it's already made me laugh twice.

So, I really enjoyed this book but I could tell why it might frustrate some people.

It is a high concept book they ultimately just follows through on the impact on some people's lives and sort of lives the big Hollywood movie bit behind.

Jesus. Probably not the best book in a 'holiday read' scenario it is both intensely sad and sort of uplifting at the same time.

Worth it though.

Currently reading The Attention Merchants. It is fascinating thing and mindboggingly interesting.

One of those books that just layers together things that you'd not connect together before.

Nothing happens in isolation.

This is one of my favourite articles on my website. The ones where I take something from somewhere else and apply it to the #ttrpg experience are usually the best .

How Big S and little S storytelling impacts the ttrpg experience.

The Wandrd Pvke V4 backpack has arrived and it is a thing of beauty .

I've adored the v1 I got from the Kickstarter it has gone all around the Canadian Rockies, Switzerland and Alaska.

People always comment on it as well.. oddly .

Camera cub fits. Improvements. Hah. It's red!
