I saw 30 years ago the Rs goal was totalitarianism. I wonder what line the GOP crossed to cause staunch Republicans like George Conway, Bill Kristol and others to jump ship. I have my doubts a vulgar New Yorker caused them to start loving democracy.

Why don't those Republicans call for removal of the Speaker, like Gaetz did to McCaerthy. It only takes one, and then the House votes to remove him. It's that simple. The fact Republicans refuse to use tools available to them to get what they say they want tells me it's a Susan Collins trick.
