One thing I love about Heated Rivalry is the near total absence of a plot so far

The viewers are encouraged to take pieces of candy away, symbolically performing a sacrament of partaking of the body, and symbolically watching his partner waste away to nothing.

It is such a poignant and powerful piece
Felix Gonzalez-Torres, 1991, “Untitled”. A pile of free candy, the pile can be staged in any art gallery anywhere but must weigh 175 pounds, which was the healthy weight of Gonzalez-Torres’ partner Ross Laycock, who died of AIDS.

This is true and I was the only one on set excited about it (and playing the song on my phone to blank stares)
Just watched the new Knives Out and I think it's really important you know that the scene in the Seminary's Gym is filmed in the same place Rick Astley filmed the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up.

I saw the window tracery and immediately made my friends pause the film so I could tell them.

While not entirely cold blooded, Jon still doesn't do well in the winter months. Martin will need to work a bit harder to keep them warm 💙

Open up this picture fully.

Then look at the surface of Mars.

Then look up to the top right.

Spot Mars' moon Phobos high in the sky.

Then notice the bright spot beside Phobos.

That's Earth.

Today, my client, Mel Curth, submitted her appeal of the University's Institutional Equity Office finding that she engaged in arbitrary and capricious grading of a student's assignment in violation of that student's religious liberty.

And people forget that "what would a response to (question with 1 correct answer) sound like?" Is not the same as "what is the answer to (question with 1 correct answer)?" The answer to "what is 6x7?" Sounds like 52 but it isn't, even though the correct answer is also 2 digit number ending in 2.

I was thinking about what gifts people used to give to readers (besides gift editions of famous poets' work and illustrated histories of wars and such), and while I was thinking about it, somebody brought a book to the counter....
