There is, however, a culture of secrecy, and a kind of military attitude in the way in which (most) bishops relate to their priests. I think that's part of what colors the perception, even if actual Church teaching is more multivalent than that.

...I'm not in your shoes. Only God can say where you belong. And I realize I'm just a random internet person offering unsolicited advice. I'm just saying, as someone who has felt similarly at times, when Jesus tells us to love our enemies, He was talking about inside the Church as much as out.

A lot of talent, but no direction. This was a tough one. It's going to be a long season.

I still enjoyed season 3 overall. And it was far better than the later seasons of Discovery. But the dark stuff didn't work as well, and it was disappointing after such a strong first two seasons.
