I write for me. I could write with you. We are a collection.

Give me a bed in nature on which to lie and rest so that I may bleed from my thoughts the press and turmoil of man. Give me a #copse, blanketed by moon smoke and lit by fireflies where the black thoughts can disperse and blend, now invisible, with the night.

It is late morning in Melbourne. Passerine music plays on the breeze just as sunlight on the grass, individual blades sparkling with each breath of song. Two hounds wrestle in play and add a rumbling bass. I bask in it, the warmth, the music, my life. My soul fills. It is late morning in Melbourne.

Life as a stageplay, you stand at the centre. Anxiety is a common vexation for any person caught in the limelight, given no lines, yet expected to know what to do. Now, look to the left, the right. You are not alone. Your fellows wait not in the #wings. They improvise with you. What a show.

I dance across amethyst floors,
Embrace lush emerald walls,
Gaze at the #sapphire ceiling.
How I treasure my home!

Call to memory the whimsy of youth. Before the grey, angular confinement that tempts us with futures. The world was curve and colour, unfathomable and delightful. Do you remember? The summer days, all grass and honeysuckle, carried you amongst the clouds until the sky turned #sapphire.

I spoke to my dog, at length, to ensure that she understood without any measure of doubt that not one single person in the world, with the exception of herself, was surprised that my pizza was not for her.

We have retired for the evening, the day well spent. The bed is warm and we gladly succumb to its snare. But, oh, there is one last need. So we play act and she withers, lacking the gumption to rise again and I press my palm to her brow and say "there, have what remains in me."

Finally here is Summer's fitful surrender to Autumn. My heart grows light, free from the smothering. The birds enjoy it too, I feel, as my soul joins their songs in #echolalia. I watch the slow dance of leaves being carried down river and send with them the fears of what may come.

A notification. Remember this day? Him and her at the park, an image he missed when cleaning up and moving on. It hurt. The good pain of living, that proved that #death was not the opposite of life nor hate the opposite of love. Better to hurt than never be.

You ever see a person wearing glasses and think "wow, what a failure". Of course not. Not even with thick, heavy lenses. Because they need those to have a quality of life!

SSRI's are just glasses for your brain's emotional regulation. You know?

It was warm today. They had stopped just before noon to lunch and his body was relaxed with satisfied contentment. He leaned over the side of the canoe and dipped his hand in the river, watching his fingers #displace the water and light dance on its ripples. What a beautiful life he had.

Sun, breeze, a gentle 22C, days like this demanded exposure. He assented by climbing to the roof of his apartment #complex, book and beer in hand, to the weathered old chair that someone had wrestled up years ago. Sis would have loved this spot. He poured a sip out on the rooftop.

Her heart hurt, mind swam. Shephard Everest had admonished her lack of faith and yet, she KNEW she did the right thing. Asked, challenged, stood up for her beliefs. Only to be banished from the flock. Alone now. The world open to her for the first time. Why was #liberation so terrifying?

He had enough, surely. He'd been tidy with his money the last several years and built up some #modest savings. Not flash. But enough? The look on the manager's face when he reentered the room was all the reply needed. His heart sank. He called his mom. "Hey. They won't sign me alone."

The day left him utterly drained. Before sunset, he was already feeling the dizzy nausea that comes from over extension. Sleep came quickly and smothered him utterly. Eight hours without turning. When the new day broke, his back hurt like a bitch and he felt all thirty-three of his years. #prose

It is SUCH a nice feeling when you give your coffee cup a little jiggle and discover you have way more left than you thought you did.

Even as someone who has never used #TikTok, I have to say that the outcome of all this is far more disappointing than if they had simply banned it.

Spending 3 weeks in Tennessee with someone who's never been has really shed light on just how much christofacism has permeated it.
