Solid over bets aren’t based solely on talent. There are several complicating factors to this team’s regular season record:
1) age and injuries
2) Rest
3) no need to chase reg season wins
4) the first half will be dedicated to a JK showcase
5) Major mid-season trade

Too much of a 50-50 prop for me

(RNS) — Last month, the Rev. David Black stood in front of a Chicago-area U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility and spread his arms wide. Adorned in all black and wearing a clerical collar, the pastor looked up at a group of masked, heavily armed ICE agents on the roof and began to pray. “I invited them to repentance,” Black, a minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA), said in an interview. “I basically offered an altar call. I invited them to come and receive that salvation, and be part of the kingdom that is coming.” But when Black began to lower his arms a few seconds later, the agents responded to his spiritual plea by firing pepper balls, or chemical agents that cause eye irritation and respiratory distress, video footage shows. One struck Black in the head, exploding into a puff of white pepper smoke and forcing him to his knees. Fellow demonstrators rushed to his aid, and as the pastor rubbed his face in pain, the agents continued to fire. “We could hear them laughing,” Black said.

With his three-point shooting ability I see him as a better Danny Green. Better because more versatile. Green literally never learned how to dribble, which kept him from being able to drive. Moody has greatly improved his drive and finishes around the rim.

Also I’ve always felt that Podz was out of position defensively at 2. 6-3 with alligator arms, slow feet. This was demonstrated convincingly in last year‘s playoffs.

His highest ceiling is at backup point guard. Very hopeful that will be his role this season.

Steve Kerr just said that Moses Moody will be given the task of guarding the other teams best player. That must mean he’ll be the starter at 2, right?

Hugely positive development IMO. 4 great defenders with playoff length around Curry.

Nazis are morons almost by definition. But I think it’s a mistake to concentrate on their stupidity, because their actions are anything but stupid. They are carefully calculated to carry out their goal of creating a dictatorship.

Knowing Joe Lacob’s ego tho, he’s likely to go hunting for bigger fish. Markennen is heavily rumored. Which means the Ws would need to throw in additional contracts. Hield, Moody and/or Podz the likely candidates.

But I don’t see how the Ws could could get Markennen minutes without trading Dray.

Also wouldn’t be surprised if Ws and JK’s agent have an unspoken agreement to move him at the deadline. And his contract is extremely trade friendly. A near exact match for Herb Jones, for instance. A perfect match for Ws need for long 3%D wings.

Speaking of Kuminga - he’s 100% getting traded at the deadline. He’s not growing a brain overnight, and Kerr’s never going to trust him.

JK’s frustration in the system will only grow. With all the great shooting the Ws added, his opportunities to cast away as he likes will dry up completely.
