The slogans of the 80s youth movement were known for their tongue-in-cheek, irreverent humour. «WEG MIT DEN ALPEN - FREIE SICHT AUFS MITTELMEER = GET RID OF THE ALPS - FOR A CLEAR VIEW OF THE MEDITERRANEAN SEA» was one well known example.
