NEW: Israel informed the UN it will permit only 300 aid trucks into Gaza daily, not the 600 mandated by the ceasefire it just signed.

You can watch this Green Beret describe this experience in his own words to @vanhollen.senate.gov, and for us, and I cried. I’m not sure how you could watch this veteran tell this child’s story and not feel all of the emotions at once.

Yes. If DHS can barge in, say your visa was revoked, be told you have a green card, say it's revoked too, and then disappear you so that neither your lawyer nor your family can find you, then all the guardrails are gone. There is no policy, practice, or law protecting anyone.

They were first told he was sent to an ICE facility in Elizabeth, NJ. But when his 8-month-pregnant wife tried to visit him, she was told he's not there.
They've received reports he may be sent as far away as Louisiana.

I’ve been so upset about the Mahmoud Khalil situation all day — it isn’t business as usual for the White House to instruct Ice to revoke the green card (!!) of a Columbia graduate for their political views. For me this’ll be the moment we tipped from authoritarianism light to authoritarianism heavy.
But also: Palestinians need liberation more than they need a thousand symbolic gestures and resolutions #freepalestine
