Good grief! They want to go back to pre 1970 when women weren't allowed to have their own checking accounts, sign contracts, serve on a jury, etc. It was well into the 1980s before a medical office stopped asking about my "responsible party" AKA father or husband or a MAN. #NotGoingBack
The regime is attempting to make it legal for banks and credit card companies to discriminate against women and minorities, making credit access harder. There's just 1 day left to comment. Reject this premise based on the Equal Protection Clause of the Constitution. Comment here: tr.ee/I9k7aFPzg3

Soup kitchen?
The priority for a Democratic president should be to dismantle more consequential MAGA monuments (like ICE as reconstituted under Trump), reform them, and rebuild them to align with constitutional norms and American values.

Ideas for better uses of the ballroom?

So someone is going to make 💰from this? Not the tax payers?
The remains of the East wing were hauled to Smith Industries scrapyard where “hoisted heaps of twisted refuse into one machine…spitting out bite-sized pieces that could be sold..”—CBS News.
So maybe you can buy a ‘bite sized’ piece of the White House.

A red and gray scrap truck carried remnants of the East Wing about six miles from the White House.

Agreed.
If members of the United States military are truly being paid their salaries by a private individual, the American people should know who that individual is. Now.

Blind? Disabled?
Watch this.

Open your eyes to this brutality.

ICE beats up, drags & abducts this disabled visually impaired man.

Now share this.

Everyone must see the brutality of this administration & ask themselves what they are doing to push back.

You have power.

Even sharing this video exerts that power.

Really interesting.
@hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social The BUNKER is under the East Wing. He's enlarging, modernizing, and weaponizing it for when the regime has to hide from us, because they never plan to leave. It's why the ballroom is elevated. We MUST remove them before the construction is complete.

Yes..not only that but it takes time to harvest what you plant.
On Threads, the usual suspects are telling ppl about to lose SNAP benefits to just start a garden. As a gardener, I had to laugh. You need at LEAST an acre of land to feed a family of 4. Start-up costs are enormous. But yes, subsistence farming on the balcony of your rental apartment is the answer
