It's only going to get worse for trans people as the FBI under Bailey will make prosecuting trans people and parents of trans youth a higher priority. They'll start by trying to effectively ban access to HRT throughout the US.
Andrew Bailey, in line to replace Patel, is a white nationalist firebrand whose name you might recognize as in '23 as Missouri AG, he tried to unilaterally ban trans health care for adults & children, sought kids' private medical records, and tried to get local police to physically enforce his law.
MS NOW EXCLUSIVE: “President Trump is considering removing Kash Patel as FBI director in the coming months, as he and his top aides have grown increasingly frustrated by the unflattering headlines Patel has recently generated.”

Republicans are assuring that the world is going to hate the United States, that no one not born here will want to come here to work, study or raise a family. That no other nation will ever be able to trust our government again to not renege on promises made. They are just racist assholes.
This is Trump's America.

They are cutting funding that pays to keep people housed.

Republicans are salivating at the idea they can not spend $3 billion on poor people and instead use that $ for corporate welfare or use to give further tax cuts to top 10% of earners.
The Trump administration was sued by a group of states over changes to a federal housing-assistance program that allegedly put $3 billion in funding at risk and could force 170,000 people onto the streets

Dana Thiede, KARE11:

"As word spread about the operation unfolding on Rose Ave., neighbors and activists calling themselves 'constitutional observers' streamed in, holding phones in the air to videotape what was unfolding."
Federal agents launch another operation in St. Paul
A witness said the number of agents "just kept growin' and growin' and growin," as did an angry crowd that was eventually sprayed with chemical irritants.
