Let’s be clear: This has NOTHING to do with the shutdown. SNAP already has strict renewal rules and almost NO fraud.
Forcing millions to reapply is a deliberate effort to shrink the program and leave families hungry.

On the water in front go Chief Justice John Roberts summer home on Upper Island. There were about 25 people in 17 boats ranging from paddle boards, kayaks, canoes, row boats and one motorized Zodiac. On the dock was several dozen people with signs. Thanks to Audacity CAT for pulling this together.

Maine Family Planning is a great organization, critical healthcare in rural areas. Republicans are cutting funding.

Maine is home to more than 8,000 asylum-seekers. They are valued members of our communities. This Administration wants to make it easier to kick them out—just so they can meet some made-up quota from Stephen Miller.
