Cool tool for building your network - figure out who your mutuals are following who you haven't found yet.

By count (gets big accounts)
By proportion (gets niche accounts)

Username only, or generate a one time app password in settings to follow directly from the page.
Bluesky Network Analyzer
Find accounts that you don't follow (yet) but are followed by lots of accounts that you do follow.

hey everyone! i made a list of some useful starter packs (primarily biology/earth sciences with a few bonus things thrown in) to share with friends who have joined bsky in the last week and thought it may be useful for some people here too! 🌍🧪 #SciSky #BioSky docs.google.com/document/d/1...

Implications: Encouraging time in nature could could be a simple yet effective way to help reduce inequalities in children's mental wellbeing 🌈

But local authorities need to ensure children have access to natural spaces, especially in disadvantaged areas 🌼

3️⃣ Benefits were stronger for children from lower-income households, but varied by activity level and outcome 💚
- Gentle activities in nature reduced behavioral difficulties 🚶‍♀️ 😊
- Vigorous activities promoted positive social behaviors 🏃‍♀️🤝

3 Key Findings:

1️⃣ Spending 60 mins daily in nature associated with 50% lower risk of behavioral & emotional difficulties 🎉

2️⃣ Gentle and vigorous activities in nature showed equally positive effects 🚶‍♀️🏃‍♀️

We used GPS & accelerometry data from 640 children to measure:
• Time in nature 🌳⏱️
• Physical activity in nature 🏃‍♂️🍃

We linked this to 3 mental wellbeing outcomes 🧠

And examined moderation by SES & sex 🔍

Disadvantaged children are more likely to have mental health problems & less access to support 💔

Exposure to nature may benefit children's mental wellbeing and reduce inequalities 🌳

However, previous findings are mixed because studies typically measure 'nature near home' rather than direct use 🏡
