I might be biased but I think my lesbian enamel pin designs are some of my best.

Happy #InternationalLesbianDay! canopyrobin.etsy.com
three enamel pins in lesbian colours: a frog, a circle that says "It's Dr, actually", and a rectangular lesbian flag with a trans inclusive chevron on the left.

Monitoring changes in UK temperature

To (almost) no-one’s surprise, multiple sources of data agree on the long-term trends in UK temperatures.

Clown wrasses, like all wrasses and parrotfish, start their lives biologically female and transition through a series of color phases before ending as a male in their ‘terminal phase’. Here we see a male terminal phase clown wrasse chasing a female initial phase #coralcitycamera #miami #coralcity

Vocal learning in wild birds! Today I spoke about our collaborative studies of Savannah Sparrows. Followed by great talks by Alex Kirschel, David Wheatcroft, Julie Elie, and Frédéric Theunissen. An information-rich day in Ste. Etienne. Thank you @nicolasmathevon.bsky.social

Political violence is bad but me and my mates need to set fire to this hotel because it contains people I don’t know personally but don’t like the idea of. Political violence is bad but I support the right of a country to kill hundreds of thousands of civilians because I’ve deemed them terrorists

I haven't seen as many Castianeira this year as I usually do, but this magnificent lass showed up at the end of my walk today and made me happy. Red lightning in the sand. ♥️
(still unclear which species this is, 4+ years after my first sighting)
Bright red ant mimic sac spider with stripy black and white and red legs and a white stripe down her carapace. She's chilling in my hand, grooming a foot Face of the gorgeous creature, chilling in my hand.

- you clean up that banksy?
- sure did, your honour, leaving a perfect, permanent outline, imbuing the work with real fuckin gravitas while making its point better than the artist did himself just like you asked

They erased the new Banksy mural in London. But the stain remains.
Side-by-side images of Banksy’s mural on the Royal Courts of Justice in London. On the left, the artwork appears faded and scrubbed, leaving only a ghostly outline of a judge raising a gavel over a protester holding a placard. On the right, the mural is fully visible in sharp black and white stencil, showing a judge in a traditional white wig and robes striking down at a protester who defends himself with a bloodied sign.

Thanks to UK leadership, a global 30x30 target was adopted at COP15 in 2022 as part of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.

But last year, the Government appeared to be sleepwalking with only 3% of land in England effectively protected. Today, we are moonwalking at just 2.8%.

BREAKING: They're scrubbing @banksy

The court is erasing Banksy's mural just like it's erasing our right to protest.

Banksy is a pillar of British culture.

He’s been daubing walls for three decades.

As soon as he satirises peaceful protesters being dragged through the courts for holding placards opposing Israel’s genocide, he faces being unmasked and prosecuted.
Banksy could be unmasked as police probe 'criminal damage' over Royal Courts of Justice artwork | LBC
Police have launched an investigation into a new Banksy artwork depicting a judge attacking a protestor with a gavel.

Linehan’s court case making it very clear indeed exactly how wacky this stuff always was, and that people like him have always been about incoherent hatred. e.g. the Harry Potter lady and those ex-Guardian colonists aren’t more reasonable than this: they are *more careful about public perception*.
Linehan making himself look positively unhinged on the stand with his conspiratorial nonsense.
Linehan adde: 'You're trying to make out I'm a bigot because I believe in women's rights and oppose men trying to intimidate and bully women.
He said Ms Brooks has been involved in trans activism since 2013.
Prosecutor Julia Faure Walker said Ms
Brooks would have been six years old at that time.
'So he says,' Linehan replied.
Ms Faure Walker said that Ms Brooks' driving licence proves she is 18.
'If you can lie about your name and sex you can lie about anything,' Linehan replied.

Acting like they played no role in his rise, like they were just innocent bystanders reporting and not vehicles used to platform him, like they haven't legitimised many of his talking points despite knowing they were lies.

You said just last week people are right to be concerned ffs.

These wildfires tend to burn in more remote areas and grow larger faster, posing a higher risk to public safety and health.

just updating my friends on the latest glinner situation and i just presented these two accounts side my side. i'm howling

[1) glinner's blog, tw: transphobia obviously; 2) the met's comments]
Glinner's account of his interrogation after his arrest (tw transphobia of course).
"He [the police officer] mentioned "trans people". I asked him what he meant by the phrase. "People who feel their gender is different than what was assigned at birth." I said
"Assigned at birth? Our sex isn't assigned." He called it semantics, I told him he was using activist language. The damage Stonewall has done to the UK police force will take years to mend.
Eventually, a nurse came to check on me and found my blood pressure was over 200-stroke territory.
The stress of being arrested for jokes was literally threatening my life! So I was escorted to A&E, where I write this now after spending about eight hours under observation.
The doctors suggested the high blood pressure was stress-related, combined with long-haul travel and lack of movement. I feel it may also have been a contributing factor that I have now spent eight years being targeted by trans activists working in tandem with police in a dedicated, perseistent harassment campaign because I refuse to believe that lesbians have cocks." screenshot from an independent article. "The Metropolitan Police confirmed that a man in his fifties was arrested at Heathrow on Monday at 1pm on suspicion of inciting violence relating to posts on social media platform X (Twitter), as he arrived on an inbound American Airlines flight.
They did not confirm the identity of the figure, but added that after being taken into police custody, officers became concerned for his health and he was taken to hospital."

the following section is highlighted:
"His condition was neither life-threatening nor life-changing, and he has now been bailed pending further investigation"
