Since there are no penalties on links and the sort, I think I can finally incorporate Artist of the week! It's been something I've always wanted to do on X, but the rules are so pathetically enforced that I could never figure out how without getting punished for it 💔 another reason why I love Bsky!

It's about the community, not the platform. That being said, if the platform rewards bad behaviour, it leads to toxicity.
Bsky isn't better by nature, the artist community here is putting in the work to make something that is safer.

I don't think bluesky is necessarily a nicer place than the bad place, but it does a better job of not shoving the drama and ragebait into your face. When you're not constantly stressed out by the things you are 'fed', more positive interactions end up happening.
