Plenty of nominally human beings have already exploited thousands of people with these kinds of damage. What happens when AI gets involved? Hell, what happens if AI somehow becomes competent at it?

Don't mind me. This would be an LJ rant if I still used mine.

People with worse damage than me abound. "Brown people all want to steal my job and I'll be stuck living under a bridge." "Black people all want to rob and kill me." "Women all want to marry me and steal all my money to finance their lives while chasing Beefcake McDonkeydick."

In this case, the stakes are low. I'm pretty aware of my damage, lots of people share my damage, and AI is only being used be people looking to make money off it. The stakes aren't always so low, though.

As a result of this, I have certain soft spots. So, when certain clanker spambot garbagedroids post AI-generated fiction on social media, I have to step back and remind myself, none of this is real, and this asshole is trying to manipulate me for clicks.

Me, for instance: I was not the son my mother wanted, I was just the son she got. And she favored my sister (the damaged girl she made), her parents (the abusive fucking assholes), and her boyfriend (the wannabe alpha male fucking shitbag who didn't make the cut) over me.

Also, I hope you like Chinese food. A lot of people of my faith observe major holidays with Chinese food (it's a long story), and holy shit, if you're seen in public, you're gonna be FED!
