I found @chrislhayes.bsky.social's interview with Schumer to be eye-opening. Now that I understand Schumer doesn't believe we're yet in a constitutional crisis, his tactical shortcomings make sense. But his position here is also deeply out of line with rank and file Dems. We need new leadership.

The rule changes to Social Security will force people to go to an office if they can’t verify their identity online (since he’s doing away with Phone services that the elderly & disabled rely on) the White House website posts propaganda and LIES. Cutting ACCESS to benefits is the same thing. #LIARS
