It’s just such a lovely building! To say nothing of the fantastic curation.

Elevated view of a river. A larger tour boat is docked below to the left as another small boat approaches from the right. The bottom of the frame is consumed by greenery. View down into a hallway inside of an art gallery. Banners with the gallery's logo hang from the ceiling. A single individual is seen walking in the distance. Metallic sculpture suspended from above. A sign in the hallway above it says "Sobey Art Award. Prix Sobey Pour Les Arts. 2025" Elevated view of a sitting area. All of the tables and chairs are empty with the exception on a single person scrolling on a cell phone.

Haha! I’ve boarded a sinking film ship 🫡

Ha! Well, it never hurts! Slide was one of my top motivations for learning to develop film!

Didn’t miss anything! I just made a different photo on Sunday to help finish off a roll! ☺️

Thanks! We’re getting into peak autumn soon, so there will be leaves!

Ha! While not exactly cheap, it was definitely a lot less expensive where I ordered it from than I usually see it!

Even then, it’s true: It really does add up quickly!

(I might still be under the influence of the excitement for developing slide too…)

Ooh, a nice arrival of fresh Velvia.
Three rolls of Fuji Velvia 100 film, one showing an expiry date of June 2027.

Rossmann 100 (rebranded Fujicolor) expired in 2006 - not bad at all. And this was rated at 64 ISO so didn't even need a ton of compensation.

Chinese statue along a sidewalk, as seen from an angle. The view is obscured by a utility pole. Phone booth at the corner of a parking lot. A statue of a rabbit stands in front. Street corner from the opposite side of the cross-street. The business on the corner is called Double Happiness Food & BBQ. Sale sign on an empty lot. Someone has tossed a jacket to hang over the top.

The Ex was a perfect end of summer fair this year. I carried one camera and lens and spent eight rolls of film. Here’s the second set.

A woman walks past a cluster of plastic ferns with the kids’ midway behind her. A fountain in the sun with slow slow shutter speed motion blur in the cascades of water. A quiet moment as a man walks pasts an old fashioned illuminated sign that spells “FLYER”, those of a certain age will recognize the sign from the somewhat infamous wooden roller coaster from The Ex of yore. A security guard sits in the shade nearby. People gather and enter the Better Living Centre and banners advertise an exhibit entitled “The Farm”.

In which I try to get better with my metering as slide is, well, slide.

Angled view of a two-and-a-half storey home on a street corner in a residential neighbourhood. Angled view of a two-and-a-half storey bed and breakfast in a residential neighbourhood. Angled view of a parking lot in the low fall afternoon sun. Rear balconies of apartments overlook the lot. Low-angle view of the sign of a 1930s apartment named The Duncannon.

Woman in a white top and black pants on a tennis court practicing her swing. Squirrel on a fence in a city park observing the territory. To its right, inside the fence, is a tree. Construction worker on scaffolding works on the brick facade of a mid-century apartment building. Traffic sign indicating that the road to the left is a no-stopping zone and that buses go there. I will never not love that the sign shows the GM fishbowl/new looks as the symbol for "bus".

Thanks! 😊 We're not entirely there yet, but it's showing more every day now!

We're really getting there for fall colours! 😊🍂

View into the rear parking access of three homes. A tree with bright red leaves stands between two of the homes. As seen from an angle, the front entrance of a grey-painted brick home with green accents. A bicycle is locked to the railing of the front stoop. Blue 1960s Ford Mustang parked at the side of a road in a residential area. Pumpkins for sale outside of a grocery store in an urban area. I *love* making photos of these pumpkins every year, so there will be more photos like this one to come.

Good luck! 🤞☺️
