I clicked the article to learn more… hit the paywall… then asked ChatGPT to read it. And it did!!! I am not recommending this, but it's easy to see how @nytimes.com has a case. #AI #Media #Copyright

Remember, leaders, your job is to lift your team, not yourself.

A leader’s success is measured by the success of their people.

It may not be the trend right now, but you can choose to build the bubble you influence this way, one decision at a time. #Leadership #PeopleFirst #Management

Wild seeing all these CEO changes. (It’s not about the leaders; they will all land just fine)

The real story is how confused companies are right now. Swapping out the top job has become the shortcut when no one is sure what strategy will actually work. #Leadership #BusinessTrends

As many know, the jump from doing the work to enabling the work can be one of the toughest transitions in a career. This @forbes.com piece captures that shift and offers some grounded reminders for new leaders finding their footing.

Worth the read. #leadership #newmanager
How First-Time Managers Can Make The Successful Jump To Leadership
Transitioning to a team leader is challenging. New managers can struggle with delegation, micromanagement and focusing on their own success. Support and training are key.

Big shout-out to infrastructure: Anthropic just committed $50 billion to build U.S. data centers, yet only ~800 permanent jobs will follow once they’re live (and ~2,400 during construction).

Crazy to think: massive buildings, huge energy demands, but relatively lean staffing. #technews #tech

Started sneaking random lines into my work emails just to prove there’s still a human behind the keyboard.

Yesterday’s gem: “Let’s align by EOD, unless the carrier pigeon gets lost again.”

Pretty sure AI wouldn’t reference a carrier pigeon🕊️... for now

Nvidia’s $5T market cap equals roughly 25 Disneys, 50 Nikes, or 3,000 JetBlues.

It’s hard to justify numbers like that. I’d never bet against innovation, but at some point we’ll shift from building AI to optimizing AI. That’s when the real value gets tested.

I had a little fun writing this one; it’s all about the power of storytelling in business. The more I study it, the more fascinated I get by how storytelling shapes everyday life, especially for managers trying to get their teams to buy in.

A well-designed process enables your team to be consistent, resilient, and scalable.
A study of Total Quality Management practices found that processes with continuous improvement have a significant positive impact on organizational performance, often more reliably than individual leadership traits

Remember managers: if you can get your team to race into Monday instead of tiptoeing around it, the rest of the week follows their pace.

I like this idea...EU wants a single set of rules for startups so expanding across Europe is easier? 🇪🇺

Ursula von der Leyen says they’ll propose a “28th regime” in 2026.
➡️ Too often in Europe, it’s easier to expand globally than across the EU.

EU to propose uniform rules for startups to help them grow, von der Leyen says
The European Union plans to propose a single set of rules for startups next year to help the bloc's innovative companies grow and operate across the region and find it easier to retain talent, the head of EU's executive said on Friday.

Can AI-driven robo-advisors (like those fueled by ChatGPT) consistently outperform simply investing in the S&P 500? 🤔
History says passive indexing is tough to beat, but AI is the new challenger in the stock picking game.
Read about the robo-advisory boom:

'ChatGPT, what stocks should I buy?' AI fuels boom in robo-advisory market
As ChatGPT nears its third birthday, at least one in 10 retail investors is using a chatbot to pick stocks, fuelling a boom in the robo-advisory market, but even fans say it is a high-risk strategy that cannot replace traditional advisors just yet.

I'm using Meta AI more and more, and it is good! The user-understanding is a huge win for them.

The next hurdle: We need Meta to clearly show how AI data security is a new chapter, not just the same old social media policy. The more personal the AI gets, the more private it needs to be. #Meta #AI

So I heard this idea on a podcast: host a “Reverse Q&A.” Instead of your team asking you questions, you ask them: What’s slowing you down? What’s working great? What should we try?

Think it would work❓

Stock Options 101: Got stock options? They're like a coupon to buy our company at a fixed price, your "strike price." It's a way for you to share in our future success. Think of it as an opportunity to own a piece of the company you're helping to build.
