Fix Nola Is A Right Wing Hack

This account exists just to refute the right wing propaganda being put out by Fix Nola and disguised as "centrism". I'm sure I'll get blocked. lol #nolasky
I bet that Fix Nola guy jizzed in his pants when he read that Trump was going to send troops here. #nolasky

Come meet Jeff Landry's stormtroopers. Decide if you want to be the boot on your fellow citizen's necks! They're nice shiny boots. You might find them comfortable.

🚔 LA State Police announced on Instagram that there will be a Troop NOLA open house tomorrow for people interesting in joining the new cadet class or learning more. Grateful to have them in New Orleans. #nolasky www.instagram.com/p/DMnLXCqhrlM

If there's one thing rich white guys believe in, it's keeping a slave labor force pipeline running. Who needs productive citizens? This is the only thing they're willing to pay any taxes for: keeping brown and black people locked up. #nolasky
🔥 Landry: “The irony of the progressive promises that have been made to this city is clear. New Orleans handed the jail keys to those who vowed to keep criminals out of jail. And, sadly, today we showed that it worked.” #lagov #lalege #nolasky

Make sure that you prosecute every one that police say did a crime whether there's sufficient evidence to get a conviction or even exculpatory evidence. Once accused, you're just guilty to right wingers. That would be a great use of the taxpayer money this account is always talking about. #nolasky
"Of the 108 murder cases closed in 2024, *30%* were dismissed by Williams' office... The suspect walks." The DA boasted a 90% homicide conviction rate, but failed to mention that stat excludes the 30% of originally-accepted murder cases that he dismissed. #lalege #nolasky

But the con man, mini Elon gets to keep all of the work product, right? The citizens of New Orleans who had their data breached don't have any equity in whatever he creates and sells from it. #nolasky #oligarchs #corruption

Imagine applauding this Nazi bullshit. Unless you're going to give these people a home, anyone who supports this should also have to go to jail. You don't give a shit about people suffering from homelessness. You just don't want to have to look at them. Seeing them is the very least you owe them.
👏 Rep. Alonzo Knox’s HB619 would also give city residents and businesses and the Attorney General the ability to compel local government to enforce the law. #lalege #nolasky

Being houseless in Louisiana could become illegal under new bill by New Orleans lawmaker
Living on the street or in other public spaces would become illegal in almost any situation under a new bill authored by New Orleans Democratic Rep. Alonzo Knox.

I betcha the local tech bro oligarch is fine with this. If you gotta break a little rule of law and some civil rights to put people in line and get them to obey their betters, who could complain?
Trump literally wants these 2 men arrested for criticizing him
Selective prosecutions are destructive of the rule of law.

We're an anomaly only in that we have a state government that refuses to regulate insurance in a way that actually protects the state's citizens. The only protection that we have is the ability to file a lawsuit and now the rich tech bro is out here pushing to take that away. #nolasky
“Are Louisiana people made out of glass?” Kaare Johnson makes the point that we aren’t an outlier on number of auto accidents or severity of damage, yet we file twice as many injury suits. 🤔 Interesting interview w/ attorney Blake Arcuri about our trial lawyer problem. #nolasky x.com/FixNOLA/stat...

Anyone out there saying that Trump "rolled back" or "paused" tariffs on Wednesday is spewing misinformation. Things are worse now than they were when we woke up Wednesday morning. bsky.app/profile/albe...
Very informative chart from Washington Post

LOL. Now this guy is against commerce. We have a state government that won't protect its citizens from so many harms that are automatically protected through regulation (including insurance regulation) in other states and he wants to stop the one avenue we have available to us: hiring a lawyer.
Picked a newscast at random today: WDSU News at 4pm. This is the breakdown of advertising in the program's one hour time slot from 4pm to 5pm. Attorney ads are in red. Think we have a trial lawyer problem? #lalege #lagov #nolasky

You won't be surprised to learn that the rich guy behind "fix nola" just did his own thing, creating a parallel 3/11 system seemingly without any idea at all about what the city tech staff was working on, and got access to your data with no terms limiting him on what he can do with it. #nolasky
Cantrell partnered with tech guru to launch AI-powered 311 chatbot. City staffers say it’s no good
“The problem in our city is not that we’re too high tech,” tech entrepreneur and philanthropist Matt Wisdom said. “It’s that we don’t have enough technology in infrastructure.”

I wonder if the whack job cried in his chia seed overnight oats this morning. Maybe he had to wait until "the help" left to go to church. It's uncouth to cry in front of the little people.
In Orleans parish, 3 of the 4 amendments lost 91 to 9. One (Amendment 4) lost 90 to 10. All four amendments had over 81,000 voters, though not exactly the same amount of voters, which I guess means some people abstained on some of them.

Snitches get what? If you see this person, buy him a beer. See something, say something. Something like "Nazis sure get upset when you call 'em Nazis, don't they?"
NOPD released video and a photo of this person of interest related to the Cybertruck attack during the Orpheus parade. [Language Warning]. Press release below. #nolasky

🗳️ Tired of this? Amendment 1 specialty courts make additional options possible instead of the same Orleans judicial chaos. Make a plan to vote YES on Saturday. #lalege #nolasky
🎡 Christopher Welch is now wanted for burglary. But he was arrested on 7/4/24, 8/6/24, 11/23/24, 12/20/24, and just 4 days ago on 3/22/25. Charges include burglary, theft, illegal weapons, attempted vehicle theft, simple assault, property damage... What is going on? #lalege #nolasky
