The birth rate discussion immediately heads in a horrifying direction whenever men are dominating it because ultimately, the majority of cis men out there default to utilitarianism in which women’s consent is a polite pretext, not a requirement, let alone the starting place.

Men, listen to how often you reflexively question information a woman, any woman, women you love and respect, gives to you. I promise, once you notice it, you'll see it everywhere

This is what we mean when we say the majority position on Covid is eugenics, even when democrats do it. If your response to a vulnerable person is to expose them rather than protect them, you are trying to get rid of them.

Talked to an ME doc about this in passing (at a meeting) & gave me that "oh frick" look you never want to see on a doctor's face.

Apparently, they already knew atomoxetine was really bad for ME/POTS combo folks. Reaction exactly the same: paralytic crash.

one more thing:

Sometimes when my fight/flight response is going haywire, my brain is like "let's argue with someone who is wrong on the internet"

This...does not actually help, and leaves my body feeling like shit

Personally I put myself in a social media time out when I notice this urge, YMMV

I assume you already know about hydration and taking your meds and whatnot

So like, this is just a general reminder that "drinking liquids" and "whatever your regular rescue meds are" and such...exist

(Fight/flight brain makes me forget basic self care istg)
