欽原(Qin-yuan)。これは…鳥…？外見については「蜂に似ている」ということと、鴛鴦ほどの大きさであることしかわからない奇っ怪バード。刺された鳥獣は死ぬ。草木を刺して枯らすこともあるらしい。草木を刺すってどういう理由なんだろう？もしかしたら山海経の世界では鳥を攻撃する草タイプみたいな存在がいるのかもしれない、などと空想が尽きない。生態を考えてインコのような対趾足にしてみました。

⛰️山海経9: 欽原。蜂の姿をした動植物絶対殺すバード。文章から受けた第一印象がスズメバチだったのでスズメ顔にしました。オシドリを大きさの基準にするセンス独特すぎ。

10羽め：嬰勺(Ying-shao)。体色は白く、赤い目と嘴をしており、カササギに似る。尾が柄杓の形をしているというのだけど…柄杓…？としばらく考え込んでしまいました。結局、リボンのような尾がぐるぐる巻きになって固まり、柄杓状になった…というイメージに。水を汲んで高い位置から流すような求愛行動をしそう。あとすごく飛びにくそう。

⛰️山海経5：嚻。意外と漢字を表示できる！ 古代中国サイクロプスバード。嚻という字の形が面白いので、４つの翼をそのまま四角い「口」型にして「目」を中心に置きました。
