Shots, shots on target, xGC and goals conceded are trending up. Does this mean spending less on FPL defenders or spending more to ensure maximum points from the 3 players you have to field? 🤔My gut feeling is spending less but with Saka injured and Haaland shooting blanks, money is less of an issue🤷‍♂️

Fair point. Given their low price, I think both Semenyo, Evanilson and Kluivert should be considered as a 7th or 8th attacker.

Great thread 👌 do you want to share a bit about how you evaluate your decision-making? When the variance is high and the number of iterations are limited, it's difficult to evaluate and adjust. I rarely miss multitabling, but an equivalent in FPL would be useful 😄

That's one of the decisions that is still to be made. I don't think there's much between them, but Pedro having penalties make me lean his way. Minutes could be managed though, so yeah - tough call. Who would you go for?

Agree and that's why I avoid 99% of the "GW X tips" content. Which in turn makes up 99% of the FPL content... I'm more interested in the big picture game theory aspect, but haven't found much covering that. I find it useful to test my theories against other people's perspective.

There are so many good combinations of the front 8. Variance will play a big role in which is best over the next 5-10 GWs. Important to keep in mind and don't get too upset if it doesn't work out.

In my current draft without Haaland, I have to decide if I want Saka from GW12. If he's fit, I'll probably get him in the Mbeumo spot + Salah, Palmer, Semenyo, Rodgers. If he's not fit, it's between him and Bruno and then move to Saka in GW15. What options are you considering?
