You've always got to ask localizers up front whether they will provide you with credits. We made this mistake before, also with localizedirect, which is reflected in the Hyper Gunsport credits from @necrosoftgames.com

As a translator, what I mostly think about is failure. I have paralysing fear of being perceived as flawed. Maybe it comes from always having felt less than and different (I'm #ActuallyAutistic).

I gather some publishers are now running book translations through AI, getting a rough machine version then asking skilled human translators to 'clean them up'. For less money naturally.

I loved Hot Skull on Netflix, and when it was canceled, I thought I’d turn to the book. But apparently, there's no #translation of Sıcak Kafa by Afşin Kum. Looks like I’ll either have to learn Turkish or let this story go. 😔
