I’m super sure that “oh, my sleep schedule is effed. I know what will fix it!!! Staying up all night reading and taking a 2 hour nap so I’m SUPER tired tomorrow night” is a bad sign of a bad ADHD / anxiety / burn out cocktail brewing in my brain. Did I heed that sign? NOPE!

I had a fantastic honors comparative religion class fall of my freshman year. It changed so much about how thought about THINKING about faith, and doubt and social groups. Prof. was a Talmudic scholar, and the way he taught analysis formed me in ways I can never repay. I was in business school.
What was your favorite early clas NOT in your eventual major. Mine was Ethnomusicology: an introduction to folk music.
I invariably get, "Ooh anthro that was my favorite class/cool professor" from people I meet. I tend to think soms of it is our outré material, being willing to talk "taboo" subjects in a cross-cultural context.
Ironically MY favorite class was probably Geology 101...
