i really did give all the Finarfin kids different shades of blond lmao... I got very interested in Aegnor after reading the Athrabeth💀😭🔥pain. I wasnt sure how to do Galadriel cuz...she just is who she is idk? But I guess I went for more Valinor-time Gal. still not my fave gal Ive drawn but its ok

slightly related, but i am a big supporter of the idea of the elves who lived in ME before the first rising of the sun being able to see in the dark and having eyes that reflect like a cats👍

It’s so silly how most the concepts, character choices, etc that haters strongly disagree with in trop are actually things that take direct inspiration from the books themselves. And for me, the more I go back to the books the more I appreciate the show even more

Its how folks treated Rings of Power. The producers states numerous times they couldn’t use certain material bc they didn’t have the rights to it so they came up with a similar version. The Celebrimbor and Sauron dialogue is some of the best in our time. Truly amazing stuff

I also hate a “well this version is book accurate ☝️🤓”. I don’t consider things good just because they’re book accurate. I count on the creatives to veer from the story and enjoy their vision along the ride. It’s an adaptation it better adapt.

Elenwe and Idril and a random Ancalime from like a thousand years later cuz I was reading the story of Aldarion and Erendis in Unfinished Tales and I was deeply entertained by their crumbling marriage. Such spiteful people made a very spiteful daughter and queen.
