still feel like between the trailers and what shipped, it is clear that they bailed late on a darkness mechanic that would have been really bold, interesting and visually striking. Maybe I’m just bringing my own bias but my guess is it got nixed for being ‘annoying’… games need to be more annoying

You gotta hard map a ‘reset’ button. It’s awful, I think making the remap screen was the grossest part of making baby steps!
