Meaningful regulations of the AI industry are urgently needed

If not addressed appropriately, this surge in AI data centers (amid extreme weather and aging infrastructure) will worsen our environmental crisis and cause strains on resources like water for communities living near these data centers.

Chemical companies have been pushing for shields to protect them from being legally responsible for the harm pesticides are wreaking on our health.

No one should be above the law. If this industry is too dangerous to operate without being legally shielded, it probably shouldn’t be operating at all
