Meaningful regulations of the AI industry are urgently needed

If not addressed appropriately, this surge in AI data centers (amid extreme weather and aging infrastructure) will worsen our environmental crisis and cause strains on resources like water for communities living near these data centers.

Without intervention, the power demand from data centers is projected to rise to 165% in the next few years. And much of that power is fueled by polluting industries like coal, oil and gas.

This case threatens everyone’s ability to hold pesticide corporations accountable

It is profoundly disturbing that the Trump administration would urge the court to side with the pesticide industry over the health and safety of the American people.

Public schools are one of the nation’s largest food purchasers and providers, meaning they play a significant role in the health of students and our environment.

This bill is a massive win — especially for students of color who have higher rates of lactose intolerance.

We applaud the members of the Appropriations Committee who fought to strip the ‘cancer gag’ language from the bill, and we remain vigilant in other efforts that seek to undermine our rights in favor of pesticide company profits.
