I met Doug on Twitter around the time my wife passed, he was a cool guy suffering from cancer and I was even lucky enough to talk to him on the phone during Christmas of 2020. Great guy who I wish was still around

In the 2010’s a fancy butcher shop opened multiple locations around LA, including in Grand Central Market. This off menu pulled pork was epic and the smash burgers and breakfast sandwiches were top tier. Unfortunately a scandal in 2020 closed their locations #bbq
