A friend is visiting the city next week with her three and five-year-old for a few days (based in Liberty Village), and so far on the list: Brickworks, High Park, Islands, (rainy day ROM or Aquarium)

This is my local bookshop's website artwork. Love them. <3

And yes they are on Bluesky! @anotherstoryto.bsky.social
Artwork of several green books on a shelf - in between several of the books is a stylized (and out of scale) version of the entryway to the bookstore "Another Story", showing the door, a window full of books, and a pride flag. Below the artwork are the words "Educate - Organize - Resist"

Year 3 and no swallows have yet used these compensation nest boxes (for the nests destroyed on the rest of the site).
Two raised wooden triangular roofed structures on tall wooden stilts in a park. They are intended to provide a nesting area for barn swallows.

If you've finished with baseball, stop by North York Centre for #NuitBlanche. Someone (not us!) cut up Toronto's bylaws to make new ones. It's art!

So, I'm making a video game based on Palestinian folklore. It's called Thursday of the Dead, and you can talk to a Palestinian ghouleh. It will have branching narrative, and art all made by a human (me). I need exactly $100 to launch it on Steam when it's finished.

A year ago today I paddled around the West Island at Ontario Place - all summer looking at the trees from the water.

Unknowingly this was the last evening they stood, as they were cut down that night.

“Beirut’s Public Prosecutor ultimately charged Riad Salameh—along with his brother Raja and his assistant Marianne Hoayek—with crimes including public funds embezzlement, forgery, illicit enrichment, money laundering, and tax evasion.

…Salameh has obstructed legal proceedings since then.”
