Just found out that one of my closest friends had a PhD offer rescinded because the NIH grant funding the program was cut. He’s considering Europe, as are a lot of researchers and scientists. Our research sector was the envy of the world. We’ll never recover. No hell hot enough

I think @simonahac.bsky.social is absolutely right on this - some wind companies have absolutely done a bad job at sharing benefits of wind power and empowering and involving the community when designing projects

Conversely, Australia also showcases many that have done it abnormally well...
