The extra annoying and horrid part about what you said is that, for once, they did win a lot of votes with the recent blue wave. Not that it mattered to the senators who decided they should cave (and the certain someone who told them that they should)

A failed GOP candidate's lawsuits prevented Al Franken from joining the Senate for 8 critical months after he won.
The moral of the story is that the GOP stopped playing by the rules, norms and traditions DECADES ago, and Dems apparently remain unaware of this serious circumstance.

We need to change rules that let a single senator or representative block the normal work of government.
